Sunflower card...

Hallo lieve allemaal,

Hello everyone,
Today's card you can also find on the Spellbinders blog.
For step-by-step instructions click here.
In the instructions you will find how to stencil with Metallic Lustre (the golden pieces at the corners of the frame).
The sunflower as well as the beautiful border are 2 of the latest releases by Spellbinders.
They will be available in Europe very soon!

Birmingham, Phoebe en #76 DML-Challenge

Hallo lieve allemaal,

Hello everyone,
It has been awefully quiet here on my blog....I know...so time for a little update.
Beginning March I went to Birmingham to visit Stitches.
I have seen a lot of nice things, some new ideas, had a lot of fun with Christine (also on the Spellbinders DT) and with Kim Hupke from Spellbinders.
We were invited to attend the Craft awards and....surprise: Spellbinders won in total 3awards...so proud we were there!

When I came home I found Phoebe becoming very ill. She had not been well for a couple of weeks and we thought the medicines given by the vet worked...nothing further from the truth.
So the next days I spent a lot of time in the veterinary clinic: bloodtests, X-rays and even echo's taken. Wednesday we decided that if she wasn't getting any better and the echo would not show anything we would have her put to sleep for we did not want her to suffer needless.
A small miracle happened for Wednesday evening she opened her eyes, got up ad came to me for a cuddle. The echo the next day did not show anything abnormal, but the vet was almost certain it's her pancreas being infeted. So she was put on medication and special food. The medicines seem to work for she's happy again and walking about again.

But...Phoebe is gettting old rapidly and she's not as vivid as she was before this happened.
Over the last couple of weeks I learned that I love here even more than i thought I did en i shed quite a few tears when she was so ill.
Coming Friday we get the results of the bloodtests and will deinately know how she's doing....let's hope the best of it....
